Improve Sending Emails From CRM By Verifying Your Domain
WHILE IT IS "REQUIRED" BY GOOGLE TO RECEIVE EMAILS IT'S A VERY SIMPLE THING, AND WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU. WE JUST NEED YOUR APPROVAL.
Many email providers, such as Gmail, will lower your spam rating and put your emails in people's spam boxes if you do not verify your domain name.
If you do not do this, emails will still go out, but there is a chance that they may go to spam. We have been calling customers to get them to do this; it involves sending you a special code that you have to copy and paste into your DNS / Godaddy.com account (or whatever register you use). It's called a CNAME record you must update, which tells Google that it's ok to send emails out.
Some folks do not want to do it, which is ok, but just keep in mind that if you don't, some emails may go to spam. Also, understand this is not a problem with our CRM but all CRM or email systems that send emails from your domain name. So as long as the email has your domain, this problem will be true for ANY vendor.
An alternative, quicker fix would be to use one of the domain names we have available, as we have preconfigured these for you, but then the emails appear to be from a generic domain. "@hyperdrivecrm.com" or something like that.
It only takes about 15 minutes to do, and it's better for your customers.
Please call us, and we can help you do it; our number is 414-326-4100.
Why we do not upgrade data gateways to windows 10
Recently customers have asked us why we do not upgrade our data gateway devices to run windows 10. These devices are used to talk to your dealer system and then publish it to your rewards system. We posted a short article that explains this here.
Security Update To Google Chrome and Adobe Reader - Reward Buck Printing
Google Chrome pushed out an update this morning, 12/12/20, at 12:00 AM Central that caused reward bucks to stop printing; this issue was fixed at 1 PM Central.
There was a 1-hour window, which reward bucks did not print today between 12PM and 1 PM - NOW FIXED
This issue was not a global problem, as it only affected customers who had "automatic update my browser" turned on with their chrome browsers.
